About the author

Heilwich Gheerts
Heilwich Gheerts lived in Ghent during the fifteenth century. She was born 1420 and died 1482. Osk Ornsdotir lived in Birka during the early 10th Century. She enjoys watching the people who come to her island home, but doesn't envy the time they have to spend on boats. Her modern counterpart has been playing SCA in the Kingdom of Lochac since 2001, and is enjoying her second and third lives.
